Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 for best flavor)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup cucumber, diced

½ cup red onion, thinly sliced

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup pickles, sliced

1 avocado, diced

½ cup burger sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to incorporate the spices evenly.

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, form the beef mixture into burger patties (about 4). Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.

In a large serving bowl, create a bed of chopped romaine lettuce.

Arrange cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, cheddar cheese, pickles, and avocado over the lettuce.

Cut the cooked burger patties into bite-sized pieces and layer them on top of the salad.

Drizzle the burger sauce over the top, and add a final drizzle of olive oil for extra flavor.

Toss gently if desired before serving, or serve as is for a more presentation-focused dish.
