Ingredients

8 oz penne pasta

2 cups broccoli florets

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. In the last 3 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the cubed chicken and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream and bring it back to a gentle simmer. Let it reduce slightly for about 3-5 minutes.

Combine Ingredients: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Add the cooked chicken, broccoli, and penne to the skillet. Toss everything gently to coat in the creamy sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve: Divide the creamy broccoli and chicken penne among serving plates. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
