2 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

6 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled

1/2 cup ranch dressing

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 cup diced tomatoes

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine the buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken breasts, coating them well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.

    Prepare the Coating: In three separate bowls, place the flour, then an egg wash (1 egg beaten with a splash of water), and finally the panko breadcrumbs mixed with a pinch of salt and pepper.

      Bread the Chicken: Remove the marinated chicken from the buttermilk. Dredge each breast in the flour, shaking off excess, then dip into the egg wash, and finally coat with the panko breadcrumbs, pressing down to adhere well.

        Fry the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat enough oil over medium-high heat to cover the bottom of the pan. Once hot, carefully add the breaded chicken breasts. Fry for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C). Remove and drain on paper towels.

          Assemble the Wraps: Lay out the tortillas on a clean surface. Spread a generous amount of ranch dressing on each tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, crispy chicken, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.

            Wrap: Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it tightly from the bottom up to fully enclose the filling. Repeat for all wraps.

              Serve: Slice the wraps in half and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve with extra ranch dressing on the side for dipping.
