Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

4 medium potatoes, diced

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1 cup frozen peas and carrots mix (or your preferred veggies)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon dried thyme

Salt and pepper to taste

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients: Wash and dice the potatoes into uniform cubes, chop the onion, and mince the garlic. Set everything aside for easy access.

Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until they become translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Brown the Beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks. Drain excess grease if necessary.

Add Potatoes: Stir in the diced potatoes. Mix well, allowing them to soak up the flavors.

Combine the Flavors: Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, thyme, and season with salt and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.

Cook Until Tender: Cover the skillet and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are tender and cooked through.

Stir in Veggies: Add the frozen peas and carrots (or your choice of veggies) to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes, until heated through.

Taste and Adjust: Before serving, taste the mixture and adjust seasonings as needed.

Top with Cheese (Optional): If desired, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top, cover, and allow it to melt for 2-3 minutes.

Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and serve hot! Enjoy the organized chaos of flavors in every bite!
