Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ginger, grated

1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 green onions, sliced (white and green parts separated)

1 cup cooked rice (white, brown, or cauliflower rice)

1 cup broccoli florets (steamed)

1 medium carrot, julienned

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Fresh cilantro or parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, ginger, gochujang, and black pepper. Set aside.

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet or pan over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until it's browned and crumbly, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Add Flavor: Pour the marinade over the cooked beef. Stir well to ensure the beef is evenly coated. Add the white parts of the green onions and stir for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.

Prepare the Bowl: In a serving bowl, place a scoop of cooked rice. Top it with the Korean ground beef mixture, followed by steamed broccoli and julienned carrots.

Garnish: Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and garnish with the green parts of the sliced green onions and optional fresh cilantro or parsley for added flavor.

Serve: Enjoy your Instagram-worthy Korean Ground Beef Bowl while it's hot!
