Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 cup pepperoni slices

1/2 cup marinara sauce

1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out the crescent roll dough on a clean surface, separating the dough into triangles as indicated on the package.

In a bowl, mix together the shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, and Italian seasoning until well combined.

Spoon a heaping tablespoon of the cheese and pepperoni mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle.

Roll up each triangle tightly, starting from the wide end, to form a croissant shape.

Place the rolled croissants on the prepared baking sheet, evenly spaced apart.

Brush the tops of the croissants with olive oil and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over them.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.

Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
