Ingredients

1 lb (450g) flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 yellow bell pepper, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 medium onion, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional for heat)

Cooked rice or noodles, for serving

Sliced green onions, for garnish

Instructions

Marinate the Steak: In a medium bowl, combine the sliced flank steak with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Heat the Oil: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.

Cook the Steak: Add the marinated steak to the skillet in a single layer. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes, until browned and cooked through. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the sliced onions, bell peppers, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

Combine Steak and Veggies: Return the cooked steak to the skillet with the vegetables. Add chili flakes if using, and stir everything together for about 1-2 minutes to combine the flavors.

Serve: Remove from heat and serve hot over cooked rice or noodles. Garnish with sliced green onions for a fresh touch.
